Restaurant : - Get a look back at Denmark before the industrialization on your holiday.
The open-air museum Hjerl Hede gives you a unique insight into how life in the country and in small communities worked in the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century.
Here you will find living workshops with all the crafts that were previously a large part of the local communities. Here you will find, among other things, cobblers, blacksmiths, turners, painters and rope makers in full swing with their work.
Visit the grocery store in 1933 or go all the way back to the Stone Age at Stenalderbopladsen.
Hjerl Hede is a living museum, with activities that you can participate in and with lots of good stories from Denmark in the "old" days.
You will find an overview of current activities and events on Hjerl Hede's website.
Hjerl Hede is located between Skive, Viborg and Holstebro and can be easily reached in less than 45 minutes from many holiday home areas in the Western Limfjord and around Mors.
