Restaurant : - North Jutland is the top of Denmark.
Here you will find some of Denmark's beautiful beaches - from the wild west-facing to the mild east-facing.
Here you will find everything from Cold Hawaii in Klitmøller, over the beautiful beaches at Svinkløv, the summer country's Blokhus and Løkken, the land of light in Tannisbugt, the Skagen painters' branch and the shallow and child - friendly beaches down North Jutland's east coast.
Along the coast and by the beautiful beaches are some of Denmark's most idyllic seaside resorts and seaside hotels.
Here you will find a rich selection of restaurants and performing arts and crafts, both of which work with North Jutland's raw materials. Here you can eat lots of wonderful fish dishes and find ceramics as well as glass art that reflects the wild North Jutland nature.
North Jutland's nature is more than just beautiful beaches. Also visit Rold forest with the limestone mines, Store Vildmose with its rich wildlife and Råbjerg mile - Denmark's largest desert.
In Aalborg you will find Alvar Aalto's beautiful art museum and if you drive a little further north you will first find Dronninglund art museum with the large sculpture park. If you come all the way to Skagen, then the little gem is the Skagen Museum with its large collection of Skagen painters.
North Jutland's largest city Aalborg offers itself with a beautiful medieval city center with i.a. Jens Bang's stone house from 1624. Here you will also find the Aalborg tower with the fantastic view and the revitalized waterfront that occasionally hosts the Tall Ships race.
You can find much more information about North Jutland at https://www.visitnordjylland.dk/.
You can easily get to North Jutland with Hovedvej E45 from the south and from the North you can sail from Norway to Hirtshals and Frederikshavn and from Sweden to Frederikshavn in a few hours.
